The book “The Cinema of Manuel Conde” by Nicanor G. Tiongson will be launched today, July 16, 3:30 p.m., at the Little Theater of Cultural Center of the Philippines as a special feature of the Cinemalaya Independent Film Festival.

Last minute drama

I thought everything was set for my thesis since Im a 4th yr student in International Academy of Film & Television. The actors were informed. I sent out the scripts. My Producer started to compile all the info needed. Then, BAM! A personal issue between myself, my DP and editor erupted. The details are well, personal, so I can’t really divulge any of it. But the unfortunate result is that I don’t have them on the team anymore.

Khavn de la Cruz again invades UP with 2 of his current works, the film “Philippine Bliss” which was shot entirely at the UP B.L.I.S.S. Housing Project and this collaboration with Alwin Reamillo’s installation-in-progress “The Nicanor Abelardo Grand Piano Project”

An installation, a film screening and a live score interactive experience only on July 15 5:30pm at the UP Vargas Museum
