Knowledge Channel's Multi-Media Operations Unit is looking for
applicants for the following regular positions.

1. Asst. Manager for Program Development & Production
Program Production champion
Facilitates and supervises Knowledge Channel productions,
coverage of events, and program development projects
Assists in developing new educational programs for the channel
Assists in preparing program proposals to target funders
** 4-6 years experience in TV Production and Production
Management
** Creative, highly imaginative, detail-sensitive, able to multi-
task and work well with a team
** Background in educational TV production and children's
television is a plus

2. Multi-Media Data Administrator / ITS Administrator*
Handles data and user administration of the channel's multi-
media database/trafficking system
Prepares daily log for airing
Prepares airing materials on time for ingestion
Occasionally provides assistance to On-Air Operations Unit with
their airing and ingestion needs
** Graduate of any IT, Broadcast Engineering, and/or Mass Com.
courses
** Computer Literate
** Broadcast and on-air experience is a plus
** Highly responsible, detail-sensitive, and efficient

3. Post-Production and Technical Specialist*
Handles the post-production group of the channel
Takes charge of all post-production equipment and their regular
maintenance, safety, and security
Provides creative post-production services to multi-media and
social mobilization groups
Does motion graphics, special post-production effects, logo
designs, et.al.
Assumes a post-production creative director position
Brainstorms with production group for concept development
** Graduate of Fine Arts, Multi-Media Arts, or any broadcast and
design-related courses
** Excellent visual communication skills, highly creative and
imaginative, ingenious, efficient, able to multi-task

4. Non-Linear Editor*
Handles all non-linear editing needs of the channel
Does basic animation and graphics
** Graduate of Fine Arts, Multi-Media Arts, or any broadcast and
design-related courses
** Excellent visual communication skills, highly creative and
imaginative, ingenious, efficient, able to multi-task

5. Cameraman*

Broadcast and network experience is a plus. Accepting fresh grads
for posts marked by an asterisk (*).

Knowledge Channel is the broadcast arm of the Knowledge Channel
Foundation, Inc. It airs 18 hours of curriculum-based programs daily
intended for use inside public elementary and high school
