KHAVN is a filmmaker, writer, and musician living in
Quezon City. Khavn has made 19 feature films and more
than 60 short films. He is the festival director of
the .MOV International Digital Film Festival, the
first digital film festival in the Philippines, and a
founding member of the Philippine Independent
Filmmakers Multi-Purpose Cooperative (Indie Coop), an
alliance of film professionals from all parts of the
Philippines.

CLERMONT-FERRAND INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM FESTIVAL
In 2008, the Clermont-Ferrand Festival, the world’s
most prestigious showcase of short films, will
celebrate its 30th anniversary and will present three
competitions mixing film anddigital medium, thus
bringing greater diversity to the short film format –
diversity being its basic principle, its source of
uniqueness and vitality.
International Competition
Registration Deadline: October 15, 2007
Registration fee: no fee
Requirements:
1) Films completed after: January 1, 2006
2) Maximum Running Time: 40 minutes
3) Origin: Worldwide (except France)
4) Festival screening format: 35 mm, Beta SP Pal or
Digital Betacam Pal

Held Mondays to Saturdays at Mag:net Café Katipunan,
Cinekatipunan screenings start at 5:00 PM. While the
film screenings are free, viewers are encouraged to
make voluntary contributions for the honoraria of the
featured filmmakers.
