Venue: UP Film Institute, University of the Philippines Campus, Diliman, Quezon City
Registration Fee: Php4000.00 only
The workshop is intended for experienced writers. A participant should have been able to write a script either in mainstream, independent or academic venues. Participants will learn the techniques in finding stories rich in contemporary Filipino textures and specificities.

The Resource Person:
Armando Lao is a well-known multi-awarded writer who began his career in the mid-1980s. Recent scripts he wrote were “Tirador” and “Foster Child,” independent films that continue to harvest awards here and abroad. Lao has also been a favorite mentor of budding directors and writers, both mainstream and independent.

Writers and Experienced Artist!
I suggest that you attend this course. I has not only taught me how to write, but it also opened my eyes to the entire film language. It swung the doors of Truths to me, the most important lesson in the arts.
