In this event, we are also celebrating the 1 year death Anniversary of actor/filmmaker and our dear friend, Elmo Redrico. It is our great honor if you will grace us with your presence in this momentous occasion.

Kindly spread the word. Thank you!!

WALANG PARAISO (No Paradise)

Directed by:  Ivy Tayag Baldoza
(2007, 23mins.)

Cast: Perry Escano, Amante Pulido, Rham Ismadi and Therese Carlos

Hipolito, a highly-strung businessman discovers his wife's infidelity
and decides to have her killed. Three years later, the
killer-for-hire named Dagis returns to Hipolito with news that his
wife is alive and out to get him.

NICE
Directed by:  --Nerissa Picadizo
(2007, 5 minutes)

A music video about the yearning for love and the want to be love in return.
Starring the late Elmo Redrico and featuring the song NICE of  “Delakrus”, the story gives us a look at the bile of loneliness piercingly tainted with sadness.

 Filmmaker’s Note:
When I was ruminating the story for NICE, I asked Elmo if we can make it semi-biographical according to his life. He openly gave me his blessing to create what I felt was his life in solitude…

We shot this music video last September 17, 2006 but due to lack of editing funds, it is only a year after that it is being completed. I have to say that in this work, Elmo has truly shown a side we never see… A side he probably carries as a person living alone…
